Tired of old NiCd batteries dying too fast?
In this video, I show how I rebuilt an old Bosch screwdriver battery pack from outdated NiCd cells to a modern 3S4P lithium pack — using recovered cells from wasted vapes!

What you’ll see in this build:

  • Building a 12V 1600mAh 3S4P lithium pack
  • Adding a 40A BMS for safety
  • Installing an LED charge indicator
  • Final test of the upgraded Bosch screwdriver

💡 With this upgrade, the tool is lighter, more powerful, charges faster, and gets a second life — without spending money on new batteries.

🔧 Parts used in the video:

  • Reclaimed 18650 cells from vape devices
  • 40A 3S BMS board
  • USB to 12V lithium charger module
  • LED battery indicator

📌 Safety note:
Always be careful when working with lithium cells. Use proper tools, wear safety glasses, and never skip installing a BMS.
