πŸ’» Duino-Coin Mining on MacBook Pro 5,1 (Intel P7350) | Linux Mint Setup + Bash Script β›οΈπŸ§

Welcome back to the channel! πŸ‘‹
In this video, I’m testing Duino-Coin (DUCO) mining on an old MacBook Pro 5,1 running Linux Mint, powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 CPU and 3GB RAM. This low-resource machine still has some life in it!

To simplify the process, I wrote a custom bash script that prepares the system, installs dependencies, clones the miner, and compiles everything β€” all in one go! πŸ› οΈ

πŸ“ Get the Script on GitHub:
πŸ‘‰ https://github.com/sznetwork/install_scripts

πŸ“₯ Download via terminal:

wget https://github.com/sznetwork/install_scripts/raw/refs/heads/main/DUCO/install_duco_full.sh
chmod +x install_duco_full.sh
./install_duco_full.sh

πŸ§ͺ What the script does:

  • Prepares system βœ”οΈ
  • Installs required packages πŸ“¦
  • Clones official DUCO miner ⛏️
  • Compiles and runs the miner 🧠
  • Prompts for all required mining info 🧾

βš™οΈ Mining Results:
πŸ–₯️ MacBook Pro 5,1
πŸ”§ Intel P7350 CPU
πŸ“ˆ Average Hashrate: 3.86 MH/s

It’s not about power β€” it’s about bringing old machines back to life for cool projects like this! πŸ’‘
