The first simple option for setting up a PPTP (VPN) server on Mikrotik via Winbox. In this embodiment, only one client can connect to the server.

Activate the server by opening the menu “PPP” – “PPTP Server”, where we check the “Enabled” box.
Add the parameters for connecting to the server, for this, open “PPP” – “Secrets” and add: Name: USERNAME Password: PASSWORD Service: pptp Local Address: internal IP of the router, for example 192.168.88.1 Remote Address: IP to be assigned to the client, e.g. 192.168.88.2 click OK.
Add a rule to the firewall so that you can connect to the server from outside, for this, open the “IP” – “Firewall” menu and add the rule in the “Filter Rules” tab:
Chain: input
Dst. Address: external IP address of the router
Protocol: tcp
Dst. Port: 1723
In. Interface: WAN port of the router, for example ether1-gateway
Action: accept
click OK, this completes the simple setup.
Checking
Going to VPN setup in Windows 10
Press Add a VPN connection
Fill all requested fields.
When configuration saved, Press connect
If all steps are correct, you will be connected to your Mikrotik VPN server
